David A. Etkin is president of Etkin Management Services LLC, a bookkeeping and tax services company launched in 2012. His business has continued to grow year after year, servicing a diverse array of small businesses in the tri-state area. David enjoys helping his clients to keep their financial books in order and helping them to make decisions aimed at ensuring their companies overall wellbeing.
David earned his B.A. in Liberal Arts from Wright State University in 2000. His studies focused on organizational communications. After working in construction and fitness businesses, David added to his credentials by earning an A.A.S. in accounting accompanied by additional certification in the field from Montgomery County Community College in 2011. Subsequent to completing coursework and demonstrations of competency, QuickBooks named him a ProAdvisor. In 2012, David became a Public Notary. Because of his commitment to professional excellence, he continues to update his tax expertise by enrolling in the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) with the IRS to attain the designation of preferred tax preparer.
I have completed Annual Filing Season Program with the IRS. It is the Annual Filing Season Program that will allow unenrolled return preparers to obtain a record of completion when they voluntarily complete a required amount of continuing education (CE), including a course in basic tax filing issues and updates, ethics and other federal tax law courses.
